Experience the history of Camp Floyd!

Established in 1858, Camp Floyd was then the largest military post in the United States. The army was sent to Utah to put down a rumored Mormon Rebellion, which never took place. The army was recalled back east with the outbreak of the Civil War in 1861. Camp Floyd was also a stop along the Stagecoach and Pony Express routes. Today, the park museum houses artifacts and exhibits from this historic time. Special events and activities are scheduled throughout the year to re-create the experience of Camp Floyd.
